March Favorite Things

Hey all!

I'm back from Mexico, and ready to move into our new house!  I still have to wait a few more weeks, but it's getting to be crunch time.  I have a few new house updates to share with you, but those will be in a future post.

For today, I want to share some of my Favorite Things for March with you.  So, if you blog, link up with us below!

1.) Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager Find it near you

Holy cow, this beer is amazing.  Yes, it tastes like strawberry beer.  That's the best way I can explain it. I really enjoy beer, but this would also be perfect for those who aren't "beer people."  Drinking one of these out on your patio during the warmer months... it's heaven.

2.) Glympse Read about it here

This app is AWESOME.  I've been doing a lot of driving back and forth lately, and Glympse has definitely come in handy.  You can text someone a "glympse" of your location, and they can see where you are for a predetermined (by you) time.  So, when I'm on my way to meet George in Peoria, I just send him a text, and he can see my location on a map, including my speed. This also came in handy during my marathon when George would meet me with snacks.

3.) Sigma F20 Brush Buy it here

I'm in love with Sigma brushes.  Previously, I had been a MAC brush girl, but these are literally the exact same brush for half the cost.  This F20 brush is so so soft, big, and fluffy.  It makes your powder go on so evenly. There are almost always coupon codes that you can find online as well.

4.) Dolce and Gabanna: Light Blue Buy it here

This is my spring and summer perfume, and I LOVE it.  It has a very fresh, clean scent that wears well in the warmer weather. I get so many compliments on it and have worn it for years.

5.) World Market Check it out here

I can't believe that I discovered this store just recently.  This store has so many Pottery Barn and Restoration hardware style accessories for a fraction of the price.  If you're going to buy something that is kind of trendy, this is the place to go. That way, if you end up wanted to change it up in a few years, you didn't invest $200 in a few Pottery Barn lamps that you would otherwise be stuck with.

6.) Vasanti: Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator buy it here

I first got a sample of this stuff in a Birchbox a while ago, and I just recently got around to using it.  This is definitely the best exfoliator I've ever used.  The granules are so small and smooth, you feel like you're definitely getting a deep clean, but it's not scratching your skin.  I definitely couldn't use it every day, but once a week would be perfect.

7.) Wayfair.com Check it out here

I'm loving Wayfair this month!  It's very similar to Overstock, but has a much bigger selection.  George and I took a chance and bought a leather chair. It's kind of scary to spend some serious money on something you've never seen, but you just can't beat the price. Overall, we're very happy with the quality of the chair, and it's almost $500 off the price of the Pottery Barn lookalike.

8.) Trader Joe's Cookie Butter and Honeycrisp apples Buy it here

I know I've made my love of cookie butter public here, but I've got to mention it again. I'm kind of obsessed with cookie butter and Honeycrisps (the king of all apples). I'd like to lie and say that I only eat it for dessert or as a special treat, but I probably eat one a day... just as a mid day snack.

  11. I am going to have to check out that Glympse app, Anthony is always concerned about where I am when I am running especially if I am by myself. This would come in so handy!!! Thanks for sharing and welcome back from vacation. I cannot wait to hear all about it and see some pretty pictures!

  12. That strawberry beer sounds good! I fit in the "not a beer person' category so I'm sure I'd like it! I love World Market! Our outdoor patio set came from there, no lie it was $200! 4 piece set and cushions!

  14. Honeycrisp apples are the BEST! So yummy. I bet strawberry beer is good - I remember drinking huckleberry beer when I was on a vacation in Montana (soo sooo long ago - like 15+ years ago) and it was delish.

  17. I love World Market! There was one close to my college campus and pretty much all my home decor, jewelry, scarves, snacks, and birthday presents for friends were purchased there. Roanoke has a Pier1 but it's not the same!
