Never Have I Ever...

Hey everyone!  One of my favorite bloggers (you MUST check out her blog), Amanda from The Lady Okie, is doing a fun "Never Have I Ever" linkup.  So, let's get to it...

Never Have I Ever...

...started and finished a "fad" book.
I know, I know... There is no excuse for not reading Harry Potter, but the other books, Twilight, Hunger Games, etc... I just can't get into them.  I enjoy reading but never the books that everyone raves about.

...cleaned an oven.
Tips From Martha
Maybe it's because I've lived in crappy apartments through college, and then in our house (which G already had when we met).  It needs to be done, but it's just such a pain in the butt and so easy to ignore.

...taken a spin class.
Beginner's Guide to Spinning
I've always wanted to try this, but I'm nervous for some reason.  I feel like it would be really good cross training in the winter, but whenever I walk past the room at the gym, it seems so intense! Could I keep up? Would the teacher call me out if I were slacking? Would riding that bike for an hour hurt my butt?

...bought anything from Lululemon.

I've window shopped like crazy.  I look online all the time, but I just can't bring myself to pay $70 for a workout tank top.  Most of my workout clothes come from Target, and they've held up really well.  Their stuff is so cute, but most of the time, I can find something more affordable and very similar elsewhere.

...imagined I would be so happy and in love.

Sorry to make the last one sappy, but I feel like I think this every day.  George makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

What things would you add to your "Never Have I Ever" list?

  1. Does self-cleaning the oven count? Haha! Spin class always looks so intense! It never seems to fit my schedule so I haven't taken one yet but i am sure it's a good workout.

  2. I've read a few Harry Potter's, read the first Twilight and the first Hunger Games but I get bored easily and they bored me! I was scared to do a spin class but I had a friend go with me the first time and every time after that so it relieved my anxiety! I still won't go alone though! That picture of you and George is gorgeous! You guys are such a good looking couple!

  4. That last one is adorable. I totally feel you on all of these! I actually did read the HP series, and it was pretty good. I'm not obsessed, but they were fun. And YES to Lululemon. Such cute stuff, but so expensive! WHY????

  5. Love the last one. Great picture of you two! I highly, highly suggest a spin class. I've gone to class at several gyms and the instructors have always been wonderful and helpful. Plus they always say 'it's your ride', so you go as hard and fast as you want, they just push you along the way.

  6. I admit, I'm a sucker for fad books. :) But I totally hear you on the oven. I've cleaned one maybe once or twice... it's kind of embarrassing. Haha, no one even really notices though, right...?

  7. That last one is great! The color filters really make your eyes awesome plus you too are so cute!!! :) on you defy need to get on the book bandwagon. I will say I read hunger games before it was big. I loved it so much, then it got huge and now I'm like, meh! OK READ ENDERS GAME! Before it goes crazy with them making it a moving. I love this book and I'm trying to read the other ones in the series. If like sci fifunny books, try dirty job by Christopher Moore, well I guess that supernatural eee! But he also wrote a fun one about vampires :)

  8. Spin class is a favorite of mine. Yes, your rear is a tad sore the first time or so, but you can get those fiesty butt padded shorts to help. In my experience the instructor encourages you to get a good workout, but you control the resistance, speed, etc.

I totally agree about Lulu, though I buy 90% of my stuff from there on clearance ("we made too much" on their site).

    Happy spinning + shopping :)
