Coming Up on Beauty and the Greek: September

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!

I'm joining my favorite linkup, 5 on Friday, once again.  For today's post, I'm going to give you guys a preview of what is to come in September on Beauty and the Greek.

Fall Haul

During some of my summer shopping for travel essentials, I picked up a few things to help make sure I'm ready for fall.  This post will include clothing and cosmetics.  I got some awesome deals too!

Running Update

Running is going really well for me!  I have found a running group, conquered my first long run alone, and I have two half marathons on the schedule.  This month will have a race recap and some training updates.  I'm also thinking about sharing my training program that I made up for myself.
I'm also tossing around the idea of doing a marathon.

To Do: Eat a Cheeseburger

This has been a post that I've waned to do for a long time.  As someone who has been thin my entire life, I've been asked why I'm so skinny, told to eat a cheeseburger, and listened to countless people's opinions on how I look.  I'm looking forward to getting a few things off of my chest.

Vacation Recap

I've been majorly slacking on getting vacation photos up.  We have pictures on three different cameras, so it's going to take some time to compile them all.  We went to Spain, the French Riviera, and Italy.  Lots of beautiful pictures, but honestly... I haven't even seen many of them yet.  Stay tuned.

Best Chili Recipe Ever

When I get excited about fall, I immediately start dreaming of this chili. It is spicy, but not too hot and has a ton of cilantro. You make it in the crock pot, and it can't get any easier.  I'm getting excited just typing this.

Check back for these posts and others in September!  What will you be blogging about?

  3. Love that you did a September preview! I can't wait to read your cheeseburger post. It reminds me of Lydia from OC housewives. That is frusgerating though I'm sure. People can tell you your too skinny but you could never tell someone they're too fat and need to lay off the cheeseburgers! Anyways have a good weekend!

  7. I love this post--just found your blog, but excited to hear about everything you have going on :)

and a few other things--1) you can't go wrong with a chambray shirt. definite fall staple.

    2) I am DYING to make chili... was just talking about that this morning. It's not quite chilly enough to warrant that here in Nashville just yet, but omgah, am I ever ready.

    Have a great weekend!

  10. I can't wait to read the cheesburger post. As a person who has always struggled with keeping off weight, I find others who struggle to keep it on very interesting!! Maybe I just want to figure out how to become naturally skinny :)

  11. I think these posts are so fun! I love the preview of next month. You're way more organized than me. I have a bunch of ideas, but I basically only know what I'm going to write about the week before, if that. Anyhoo, I think you should doing THINKING about a marathon and DO ONE. I all capped you. Now you have to for sure!
