One Year of Wedded Bliss

Hey guys!  One year ago, George and I got married! We've had an incredible year so far, and I can't wait to see what is in store for our future.  Below is a short video and some pictures from our big day.

George + Emily  from Eugene + Heather

Shoes were made by Athena Alexander and were super comfortable

George knows the way to my heart.  He got me a print of a pit bull that I had been dying to have!
My SIL of Stars Stitches made us these super cute monogrammed t-shirts.

My dress was super tight at first.  I was so nervous about passing out, I ate a belgian waffle and a 6 inch sub that morning. That ended up being a lesson learned the hard way.  Eat, but don't eat too much.

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church

We had the trees planted in my mom and dad's back yard.

Sweet flower girls

One of our Ring bearers, our nephew, made it about half way before he turned around and went back.

One of the happiest moments of my life

Greek traditions

First kiss and hug as husband and wife

Big thanks to the Corbett family for letting us use their awesome car

My favorite wedding picture of all of them

That's all I have for now.  It is so much fun to look back at wedding photos and videos.

Who else has a wedding post?  If so, I would love to see them!

  14. I love your wedding post! Everything looked amazing. I have a question though. I noticed you were married in the Greek Orthodox church. Was the woman who is walking behind you guys at the altar following the Greek wedding traditions your "Koumbara" and was she Greek Orthodox? I ask because I am not Orthodox, but will be getting married in the Orthodox church (my future hubby is Greek) and wanted to know if I could have my sister as my "Koumbara" despite her not being Orthodox (we are Catholic). Thanks, xo!!
